Our Lady of Presentation Ministries provides you with this book, One Bread, One Body. The major scripture on which Presentation Ministries is based is Isaiah 2:1-5, the first reading for today's Mass. Advent and life in Christ are like climbing a mountain to receive God's word and then taking that word to the ends of the earth (Is 2:3). We at Presentation Ministries are climbing the mountain with you and working with you to spread God's word in your home, church, neighborhood, city, country, and beyond.

"The word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword" (Heb 4:12). God uses His word to change the world. His word always achieves the end for which it was sent (Is 55:11). Through God's word, swords will be beaten into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks (Is 2:4). God's word will so change the world that it will not even "train for war again" (Is 2:4).

This Advent, let God's word penetrate your being and judge the thoughts and reflections of your heart (Heb 4:12). We begin to change the world when we let God change us through His word. Together let us climb the mountain and "walk in the light" of God's word (see Is 2:5).
